Hyundai Verna RB - Gift to the Victorious Indian Cricket Team

Saying that cricket is a religion in India would be stating the obvious. After a long gap of 28 years, the Indian cricket team has brought home the Cricket World Cup, and everyone is looking for ways and means of showing their happiness. The team has been flooded with all kinds of goodwill including cash, real estate, endorsements — and cars. Recently, Hyundai found a very novel way of congratulating the victorious Indian cricket led by none other but the very handsome and successful M.S. Dhoni.

Hyundai Motor Co., which was one of the sponsors, has announced that it will give each team member a 2011 Hyundai Verna RB. The new 2011 Hyundai Verna RB features Hyundai’s fluidic design sculpture which is very much obvious in the other small cars of Hyundai such as the Hyundai i20. The new 2011 Hyundai Verna RB flaunts a hexagonally carved grille, a striking headlamp, and daytime-running LEDs on the fog lamps’ outer edges.

The interiors of the car are equally impressive with new upholstery and dual-tone themed interior. A number of comfort features will come as standard in the new 2011 Hyundai Verna RB, such as push start/stop button, automatic climate control, audio control on steering wheel, airbags and ABS. The new Hyundai car will be launched soon in the Indian market.

Speaking on this announcement, H W Park, MD & CEO, HMIL, said, “As the official car partner for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, we will be extremely delighted to felicitate the Indian cricket team with All-New Verna much ahead of its market launch in the country. This is a part of our continuous effort to bring passion to the game of cricket and we have taken many such initiatives like the Hyundai Fan Park, First and Last ball tour amongst others during the entire world cup campaign. I wish team India all the very best and hope that they realize the dream of the nation to win the world cup.”
